I've seen pipes like that in SCC. They are mufflers that If you take off the cap it acts like a straight pipe or something.

 

I think I've seen a pipe setup like that on a 1980 RX-7 in the junk yard. Did they have a different exhaust setup back then?

 

The car is in show condition, nice paint, rims, not my style, but hats off cuz my car ain't in show condition. Dude spent some major cash!! any other pics?

 

personally.. a rx-7 is n0t the type of car you do those things to.. it was designed as a well balanced sports car.. you should be able to take your rx out.. and drive the ****.. hard!!! and then driver her home and pet her as you walk away..
