Rewiring taillights=PITA?

Rewiring taillights=PITA?
i have to rewire both the taillights on my 85 GSL-SE, anyone else do it, if so any tips etc would be appreciated. i have a haynes manual to help but ive never done it before.

You need a manual to rewire your tail lights ? Did somebody steal your wiring harnass or something ?
The harnass terminates after the passenger rear tail light and rear defrost and wiper ( if equipped ) if I remember correctly. The branches occur close to right where everything is physically located, so if it reaches then that's what it is because it can't be something else because two solid objects can't occupy the same space and time. Know what I mean ?

re-wire tail lights
Jeez. Just find a wreck and swap rear harnesses! in my 80 the rear harness terminates up the driver side kick panel under the dash. Not sure what the 81+ RXs configure, but pulling a few side panels out to swap has GOT to be easier than re-wiring...
