rethinking seat belt mount, ideas?

i got my g-force 5 point harness today that ill be using for autox this summer and and going to start putting it in next week when im back from vacation.

i was originaly going to just make a harness bar from one pillar to teh other and bolt it into the stock seatbelt bolts liek everybody else does but it got to thinking about it today and it seems like if the car was either hit on the side or in a roll over that harness bar would move ALOT and could be extremely dangerous since the harness would move with the bar.

i was thinking of maybe making a craddle out of 1/4" steel that would bolt under the seat into the stock seat mounting holes, then a brace coming up behind the back of the seat to mount the shoulder straps to, level to my shoulders, this way everything would be mounted to the floor, i think that would be the safest.

any of you guys done anythign different? could i see pics of some setups? ill try to make a quick drawing of my idea on paint and post it up for you gusy to see what imm getting at

heres some pics for now

Honestly? When I was thinking about installing a five point in my RX7 I tried to keep the angle (forgot what it was now...) and found that the triangular part of the frame around where the strut bolts into was a good place, and then possible reinforcing a section of the hatch area.

so does everyone here have a harness bar, or are there people with other configurations? because it seems to me aq stock seatbelt is accualy safer than having a harness with a harness bar and no roll bar. but thats just my thinking so what kind of debate can we get going here? lol
