No he doesn't those are enkies on the front in one pic, but he's got enkies, volks, epsilons, knock off enkies. Everything... If I remember his epsilon fronts are 15x7 0 offset and the rears are 15x8or9 0 offset. Lots of lip on his epsilons. my car looks like a 4x4 w/ pizza cutters sitting next to his.

Epsilons 15x7 205/50/15 in the front, 15x9 225/50/15 in the rear.Don't have the offset specs off the top of my head.

this is the look im goin for. i dig the wheel sticking out of the fender abit, and a stretched out tire. like a 205/50/15 on a 15x9 wheel... i just love the stretched wheel look!! :icon_tup:

Thanks Goldfinger for your post on the 20mm offset 15 x 7 rewinds.
Looks good.

Still, I wish there were an option for a lower offset that would fit.
I see pictures like the one attached and say "that's the look I want to achieve".
But I don't know - there must be fender rubbing big time...

Panasport does have 4 x 110 with 15mm offset, but they recommend 20mm.

Hey speaking of suspension...I have a REALLY quick question for you FMAZ.....The company KING SPRINGS is out of Australia...and they provide a HUGE drop for our first gens...But are they any good?

Old Panasport FS Wheel Brochures

I dug up a set of old Panasport brochures I had from the mid- to late 1990s.
They used to offer 14 x 6 wheels, 4 x 110, with 15mm offset.
They offered 15 x 7 wheels, 4 x 110, with 18mm offset.
These were the base wheel options for RX-7s at the time for street wheels.

I'm going to give Panasport a call today to ask about the lowest, clearable FS wheel offset possible for a 1st gen and post.

I have some Ronal 15 x 7's with +15mm offset, and a set of (very) old Tokico springs that have my car sitting near the bumpstops. I have no tire rub issues with a 205/50-15. The front fenders have been lightly rolled. I actually have less clearance when using my stock + 13's and a 205/60-13, but the issue with those is the springs.
I know they aren't panasport style, but here's a pic.

King springs are great if you have smooth roads. The superlows especially ride very harshly.

SSR RS-8's (rsWatanabe makes them now)

14x8 front, 14x8.5 rear
fronts are ~+20-25, rears ~+20-25 IIRC (to much snow to go look)

OK Wackyracer. Thanks for trying. Hopefully you can find time to check when the weather gets better...

Siraniko 01-29-07 03:04 PM

I measured it during lunch. Im a bit surprised myself that my panas are 15x8, not 15x7. It has 4.75 backspace.
