Replacing Quarter Glass

This dove-tails with my paint question. I found a spot of rust beneath the leading edge of the driver's quarter glass. So, I have removed the glass, dealt with the rust, primed, and will soon be painting the area. I hope to soon reinstall the glass. There is a rubber "L" shaped edge that I assume was once glued to the two long sides of the window. And, I gather gasket material should be applied against this "edging". (this picture, I stole from the web, and I'll add my own when I get the chance - if it helps). My question ... where can I get this rubber piece? It would be where the red marks are on this picture:

I'm surprised that the dealer would still have that part! I need to pick up two of them for my upcoming repaint this winter as well.

Don't have it handy. You will need to look it up in the parts manual. That's what I did. It's available on line.

I wasn't aware of the parts manual being online. I think I've found the appropriate part number - 63942B Dam -Side Window. You need two per side. thanks.
Correction - that is the "D-Code", whatever that is. The part number is 887163942. And you were right - I was able to order from my local dealer, once I had the part number.

Ok - so the next part of the question - can I get the black sealant material just anywhere? What is that stuff, anyway? And, how do I bond the "dam" to the glass. Thanks!

Success ... somewhat. I did get the quarter window cut out without any issue. I used windshield cutout wire purchased from Amazon. Taking my time, the quarter glass was easy to remove. I have successfully addressed the rust spot that was beneath the forward edge of the glass, and I've repainted (single stage, Sunrise Red - I used my airbrush). I got the side window dams from Mazda. Now I'm ready to reassemble ... and that leads to my question. I purchased Transtar 4502 Urethane Windshield Adhesive, which comes in something that looks like a tube of caulk. Upon receiving the tube, I noticed the bottom has a pull tab (think old-school soda cans or soup cans). I'm assuming I need something other than my trusty old caulk gun for this? Any insight?

This is what I've purchased:
Amazon Amazon

Thanks for the help.

I found this searching the internet. The same question you asked.

"For anyone who happens to pull this up in a search. The dow tubes pictured use a normal caulk gun. The pull tab is only a seal and there is a plastic plunger under it."

Rust! And a bigger spot that I expected.
Grind, Prime, Sand, repeat as necessary ...
I shot the paint with a Badger 150 dual action airbrush. 8:1:1 - more or less.
Decent, I guess.
This sealant. This stuff is THICK! Transtar 4502 Urethane Windshield Adhesive. As KansasCityREPU noted - pull the tab and GO! I did set the tube on my truck's dashboard and let it sit in the sun while I did some other work. It was about 65 degrees out that day. I'd rotate the tube once in a while, up until the time I used it. I think warming it made it a little more usable.
I scraped all of the factory adhesive off and cleaned with rubbing alcohol before proceeding. I also painted the underside of the leading edge trim, as I sanded it just to be certain everything was clean.
Well, I think I'm pretty happy with the results. I appreciate the input and insight you guys gave. What at first appeared to be a tiny bit of rust just behind the leading edge of the quarter panel was a bit more. Not compromising-the-metal-you-can-see-through-it sort of rust, but still. I successfully removed the quarter window glass, ground down the rust and built up the area, got some paint mixed, and sprayed through my airbrush on the most recent warm day. Thank you again for the assist!
