Renesis swap infos

I'm looking at doing this swap in the future and have found some of the info I need, but would like to solicit some more info from others more knowledgable. From what I've read in other posts, it seems as difficult/easy as other later model 13b swaps.

I want to use the stock 12a distributor, front cover, OMP, transmission, starter, waterpump assembly, oil cooler, stock oil pressure and water temp sensors, FC plugs, GSL-SE oil pan and last but not least, my modded Nikki. For exhaust, I'd of course keep the stock Renesis manifold and custom fab the rest back to a decent muffler/pre-silencer setup.

Now to outline the swapable items:
12a dizzy and OMP: To get this to work, swap the CAS/dizzy drive gear on the front housing/e-shaft, and use the front cover from a 12a or GSL-SE. A Renesis front cover gasket would be better to use?
What about the OMP drive gear?

Trans/Starter/clutch: From the thread sourced below, I'd need an auto counterweight and aftermarket flywheel for an rx8 and stock clutch. Guess I can use the stock 12a starter? This is a transmission dependent item?

Oil cooler lines, there is a line coming off the rear housing, but not the front(I think that's how it is...). That comes off the oil pedestal kind of like the beehive coolers on the s3 models. Presumably you can fab up a couple of lines to hook into a stock air to air oil cooler.

Does the 12a waterpump housing bolt up with no mod?

Do the Renesis use the same thread pattern for its spark plugs as previous 13b engines?

Is there a spot for the stock oil pressure and coolant temp sensors for the guages. I saw in the rx8 FSM there's a spot on the oil pedestal for a pressure tester? Would a stock 12a oil pressure sensor work there? Is there a spot for the water temp sensor also?

Will the GSL-SE oil pan and pickup bolt up?

I think that takes care of the mounting and exhaust. For the intake, I want to keep my stock Nikki, like I said. For that, I'd make a Renesis to 12a manifold adapter like these:

Thanks to Rotarygod for posting up the info there.

If anyone has some pics of a 12a or Renesis front housing with front cover removed, that'd be helpful. I'm going to try and take some for reference this weekend of the 12a.

My carb is a Sterling. I'm not sure, but I think it can be tuned to handle the Renesis, and I guess the stock 12a trans can handle the power if I can avoid 9k clutch dumps... lol
Ignition is a GSL-SE addict TT circuit with FC coil and plugs.
A lot of the info I'm wondering about is mentioned, but I want to confirm it once more since it's a pretty new swap, and it's a lot of money to tie up for unexpected surprises.

I think it can be done for less than $3k for sure. $2k if a good engine can be found cheap.

Anything else I'm forgetting?
