No, conspiracy NUT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I don't put much into conspiring, but I do honestly believe that the Japanese really do play hardball to keep their prices for parts sky high. A lot of the stuff is "assembly or unit" only. In other words, you might have to buy an entire strut and not just the tower plate to get a factory piece. Ask rebuilders who have to put em back together.
