Hi all
Here in SA there are 2 models available. one is a 4 port 140kw and the other is a 6 port 170kw. the 4 port has more torque than the 6 port apparently. Also, the exhaust ports are now on the intermediate housings like the intake ports.

Has anyone ever stuck either of these engines/gearboxes into a first gen ?

please paste a write up if u have done so.

Have the opportunity of picking up a 2004 4 port rx8 motor and 5 speed tranny with 11,250 miles on the clock for $2,600

just wanna have some idea of the pain/expense of sticking this in a first gen

c

Go on to Ausrotary.com.au and search for Renesis, the conversion has been covered there.
