Removing throttle cable
Got everything else off, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a hold of the lock nut on the throttle. The japanese must have tiny tools. I think the engineers were thinking, "In 27 years some American is going to be using his tools and they will be to big for him to do any work." "Let's put the motor hook and some vacuum thing right in the way."

LOL, you are right about what they were thinking......
Sometimes, it's easier to unbolt the carb before taking the throttle and cruise (if equiped) cable(s) loose.
I think they attached the cables to the engine before it was installed, cause I don't see anyone spending 8+ hours a day hooking those up, without forcing a design change..........

Well I out smarted them and got it off. I swear I have everything disconnected and the carb won't come off now. I'm beginning to realize I picked up an ORIGINAL never touched RX7

BAHAHA man this car continues to Pwn me, once again 4 bolts drive me insane. Fortunately the Clutch Master cylinder and slave have 2 bolts each.
I was trying to separate the carb from the darker metal, thinking only the light grey was what I needed to remove.
