Removing power window regulators

Should be an easy task, but I don't have any of the power window controls hooked up, so I can't lower the glass to take out the screws. Is there another way to move the glass? I'd try strongarming it, but I'd prefer not to break anything yet. Thanks.

disconnect the power wires to the motor in the door, then get a spare battery and some wires, and apply them to the connection. this is how I did it on a car we stripped, reverse polarity to get it to go the other way.
Side note - you'll see how fast these windows can be with out going thru the dirty, crudy old window switches.
