Removing Emergency brake lever??
Here is another semi-stupid question, but I would like to know how to go about removing this. I unscrewed the plastic cover just past the lever and removed that and then slid the little chrome ring down...But I'm not sure how to pull the handle off, any help is appreciated. I have an '85, if that makes any diffrence.

If only the plastic piece, pull and turn. It's hard most of the time but will come off.
If the actual lever itself, there are two 10mm bolts on the drivers side and one on top (under the consol)

I tried pulling twards the front of the car while turning, and tried just turning. Nothing....and I tried it wiht the break ingauged and dis-ingauged. Is there some speical way?
