Removing the dealer installed rocker panel trim

OK, this GSL-SE has the dealer-installed metal trip ppieces on the sides above the rocker panels. Does anyone know what a job it will be to remove them? and how big of a mess will I have after I pull them off? This is a clean california car with just 75,000 miles so I don't want to screw it up... thanks!

That aircraft brand (kleen-strip) adhesive remover is pretty good stuff and doesnt hurt paint.

then I wouldn't remove the, you'd have to fill the holes and then touch up paint. They don't look bad on there....

Turns out that these panels are in there rock solid.... which means that I now kinda like them quite a bit!
