Removed battery, now all the lights blink
Hi guys... I did a search but didn't come up with anything that seemed related to my problem. Yesterday, I took the battery of my 7 to put it in a diff car that had a dead battery that needed to be moved. Immediately as I hooked the battery back up to the RX-7, all the lights in the interior dash lights and exterior turn signals all started blinking. After a few minutes, it stopped... but now when I drive, it starts again every now and then. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has to do with the alarm put in the vehicle before I bought it, but figured I'd check with the pros first.
Thanks for your time.

Alarms are usually set to go off when a battery is first reconnected, as it's customary to disconnect the battery when attempting to steal a car, as not to cause the alarm to go off. Then when the alarm is thought to have been removed, the battery is reconnected and the car hotwired...
If you don't have the remotes to the alarm, I'd remove it. Alarms are traditionally hidden under the dash. Usually a plain black box, about the size of a deck of cards to a small paperback book. They have MANY wires connected to them and spliced into the stock wiring harness.
That is a typical alarm response. Any decent alarm would do that as mentioned before with the battery positive being taken of the pole, or reconnected back.
Check for dodgy old wiring and try to locate ya alarm box/horn. Also, it shouldn't really happen once you put the keys in the igniton and turn the key to "ON", since that should (in a perfect world) disable the alarm. As most alarms work on that the key is in and turned, the driver is in the car.
