removal of joystick Radio

You have a joystick for the GSL-SE's that control the speakers. Is there a way to remove the joystick and still have control of the position of the speakers from the head unit(radio). Every time I reach to open the passenger door or get anything from the passenger side I always move the joystick. I hate this joystick. Any ideas. Thanks

remove the joystick, and run a 2nd set of din plugs to the 2nd output on the radio to the amps. Just like a regular GS model does.

The GSL's and GSL-SE's don't use the "rear" output on the radio, because it goes to the joystick

side note to confuse you more:
The system w/ the joystick only uses the front output 6 pin DIN from the tuner. That goes into a little converter so it can plug into the 8 pin DIN harness that goes to the joystick. The joystick is what actually splits it into Front and Rear.

I still dont understand. By doing this I will eliminate the joystick. I tried in the past disconnecting the joystick and adding a conector to the male and female from a GS model. I used this piece where you diconnect the joystick. All I had was the rear speakers on. The front were not on. Please explain how can i eliminate the joystick and have total control from the radio's fader button. What you are saying is pull out the radio, connect another 6 pin cable on 6 pin not being used and connected to the rear compartment amp adaptor. This should eliminate the joystick, right. HELP

I just took mine out, replaced it with a GS coin holder and everything worked fine. The 8-prong connector or whatever just lays there. It was very easy for me.

Run another 6 pin connector from the 2nd output of the radio,
to to the other 6 pin connector where the joystick used to be.
