Reminising about my RX-7

First off, I'm new here. Secondly (and, hopefully qualifying), I'm a former owner of a red 1985 RX-7 (S model). I bought it in 1985 from the local Mazda dealer and it only had 5500 miles on it at the time. I owned it for 3 years and cried when I had to sell it (growing family, short on insurance $). Man, did I enjoy that car! The 12A engine ran flawlessly and the car handled incredibly well for its day (and tires). I wish I still had it!

Anyway, I saw one just like it last Friday at the same Mazda dealership while I was having some service work done on my year-old RX-8. The only difference I could see was the sun-roof. My 7 didn't have one. Otherwise, same color, same wheels, stock cassette player, etc. The 7 was a little beat looking, but still pretty nice for being 20 years old. I do love my 8, but still have a soft spot for the 7.

Sorry, just wanted to share.

Remember there's always time for a second childhood! (go buy one, they're cheap).
