rearend removal

im takeing my rear end off its an 82 and on the drums there are some lines on the lower back im thinking its for the e-brake is that right?and how would i take it off just there is one on each side

It runs though the frame rail and connects to the Y piece. There's a pin (that i'm sure has a name) you have to pull out to disconnect the cables. There is a clip that slides over the line where it runs through the frame rail, slide that off the line, pull the gromet out on the other side of the rail and pull the cable through the frame rail.
