Exclamation Rear window de-fogger wires

If anyone has the time to check this for me, it would be greatly appreciated!!

I replaced one of the lift supperts on my 84GSL tonight, and i had to remove the window de-fogger wires. Like a dumb-*** i forgot to look at what one went where.
Anyways.. i think that one is black+blue, the other is black+white.
(to clarify, i'm talking about the wires between the lift support mount and the side window on the passenger side) One is in front of the other.
Could someone look at their wires for me and tell me which wire is facing the front, and which one is facing the back.

Thanks alot to whoever takes the time to do this!!!

Vince

Looked at mine and I did not have to remove it to put new suports in and there are just 2 wires that plug in on a curley cord one each side. Is yours OEM ?

Normally.......

all you need to replace is ONE lift strut. My advice, replace only the (as you're standing at the back looking in) left one and leave the right one stock. Then you don't have to worry.

I've done this on 1st Gen's with and without the rear wiper. Either way, replacing one was all that was needed.

My advise, put the old right one back on. Try it. You'll like it.

how can you remove the rear defroster? I am getting the windows tinted and would rather not have it there.

My 7 is a summer only car and I use the defrost wires for my neons.
