I must be missing the arm or something... Is there anyway you can get a picture of it together?

Sorry, no digital camera or scanner.
I'm one of those Cro-magnons living in the prehistoric age of photography.

Hmmm...Well how about anyone else? any pictures of this arm?

Can it be easily taken off? I just find it odd that it has been missing from all the cars Ive seen?

Do both the front straps and the rear strap still have metal pieces attached to them?

I just don't see how a piece of one could break off.

After rereading the thread I'm pretty sure you're missing a piece. If they're both there how they buckle together is fairly apparent.

Find one with both parts of the buckle in a junkyard and I bet you'll see the light ASAP.

Yeah, well the rear strap has the adjuster, and the front straps only have the metal ends that get bolted down, and thats it. Even in the junk yards, I havent seen this "other piece" which is why I ask what it looks like or if its easy removed because then it would make sense as to how its disappeared over time.

Maybe someone out there would have one in a parts car somewhere they would send to me? Its the little things like this that annoy the crud outta me when it comes to completing my car...

Not really... Sorry, but thanks for the effort.

Mine has the plastic adjuster on the rear strap, as well as some kinda metal thing, but the front strap has nothing.

EDIT: Looks like Im just gonna get some pictures, and you guys tell me what to do with the pieces ...

The plastic adjuster is off the bottom of the picture.

The little metal tab on the rearstrap goes into a square on the forward strap. The square on the forward strap slides right off the metal bolt ends.

Here's a picture of the two connectors.

I think there is one in the RX-7 up at Woody's (or whatever is next to Wild West Mustang Ranch) in woodinville.

I also saw one in Pull-A-Part down in Tacoma a few weeks ago, but they may have scrapped that one by now.

No, I havn't been to any of the meets yet..

But, I'm planning to go to sevenstock this year.
