Rear axle brake line "T"?
I have a disc brake rear-end in my GS and I'm hooking up the brake hardline on the axle itself, but it looks like I'm missing a component. I've purchased the hose that connects the hardline from the brake unit to the hardline on the axle, but since there are two hard lines on the axle, I need a "T" or something.
I've searched high and low but I'm not sure what to call this component.
Does anyone know?

you mean FA18-43-642A? Mazda calls it a joint, its NLA.
i don't remember what the 1st gen part is like but on an FC, its literally just a block with the 3 passages drilled in it

On the FB, it's more of a "Y", with a hole for an M6 retaining screw. If you list this in the wanted section, you may get some traction. I was able to find somebody willing to sell me just the spring seats for a conversion project.

I was wondering if I could use the FC equivalent. It doesn't seem like it's anything special. Thanks for the info.

I'll post, but I'm in a time crunch! Thanks for the advice. I might just use the FC equivalent.

I Have One!
Man, It's your lucky day. When I sold my OEM rear axle, I thought I had shipped this part with it, but I hadn't. It's grimy, but otherwise in perfect condition. It even includes a SS flex hose.
If you want it, PM me your address, and I'll send it to you for free (oranges not included).

Send me them oranges, haha.
Oh, great...I'm glad I saw this posting. I didn't realize the brake lines on the axles connected differently than they do on the drum brake axles. Now I'm looking for one of these. Glad I saw this before I started the swap. :/

Mine was missing too. Block of steel. Drill and tap 3 holes in it 10mm x 1mm. Offset the one for the soft line to drill a 6mm hole straight through so you can mount it. Costed about 2 bucks.
I just used a t from my work (AutoZone). Didnt have metric thread so... Got two metric hard lines to fit calipers/hoses.. Cut off inside ends and flared on standard tube nuts. I did the same with a short section of line to the center hose.... Ill see if I can get a pic... Works great looks good too
Haha. I blasted the whole disc rear end then just spray bombed it... Only two coats... It's got a lot of pitting from the previous rust that Was on it... I have since switched to gslse rear w disc to support mosers and tII brakes... This go around I used brush on hammered tough to disguise some of the imperfections I like it anyways...

10 on 1 ... To be exact in techno speak 10mm diameter on 1mm thread pitch. Standard brake line used on about everything on the road. I know the new Siennas use it too. Hey now that I thinking of it. A lot of Toyota's use a distribution block on the firewall. The new sienna used a 6 way. Too many I know but opens up a lot of opportunity. You might even get something at the local hardware store semi close.
