Re-use sender gasket?
Re-use sender gasket?
I ordered my new fuel level sender from Mazdatrix. They don't sell a gasket, and told me most guys re-use their original equip. rubber gasket. This was surprising that they don't sell a gasket, and that they recommend re-using a 25 year old one. Do you guys re-use your fuel level sender gaskets?

I would think that it would be OK to use if it hasn't hardened/shrunk/cracked.
I ordered new ones before I pulled mine recently, as I didn't know what shape it would be in and am leery of storing open gas containers in my garage with my water heater. Mine was original to the car, and was pretty stiff, though uncracked.
Mazda was able to order them for me, had em a couple days later. Cost me about $7 IIRC.
