CA Is RE speed still around??? I need camber plate needle bearings

I have the RE speed camber plates. One of my needle bearings got pinched when assembling.
I need replacement bearings.

Sam's website shows these replacement bearings. When I made an inquiry via his website.... No reply..

Does anyone know a different vendor I can get these bearings through if not RE Speed?

Try McMaster Carr and search for Steel Thrust Needle-Roller Bearings. The part nos. are 5909Kxx. Just get the right size.

Yeah, don't go through them. It's just a waste of time and you need to know how to get your money back because they won't refund it. McMaster Carr is the place to go for your parts, as stated above.

Found it on page 1147 of my trusty McMaster Carr Catalogue.

$3.09 each! Very inexpensive.

Thanks for mentioning. I would have not thought of them.

Your best bet is to use AN brake lines now. get a -3 line the same length as stock, and then get two fittings

kinda like this

fitting 1 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...5erl/overview/
fitting 2 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...5erl/overview/
hose http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...4erl/overview/

note i think these are the parts you would need, but i looked it up based purely on memory so i would double check which fittings and length hose you need

I think the worst thing about re-speed is their facebook is very active each week there are about 25 new photos of different projects for Hondas Rc cars, rotary miata. Etc.

Oh we'll that sucks! Our cars are getting harder and harder to find custom parts for.

Another one bites the dust.

Just ordered the thrust needle bearings from McMaster Carr.

For those that need them, they are part number 5909K34 They cost $3.09 each!!!

Helluva cheaper than the $39.99 RE Speed wants for a set!!!

Yeah, they'll still gladly accept your money, and that's the end of the transaction... Thankfully TechnoToyTuning has started making FB parts. Hopefully they continue and come up with more products.

When i replaced the ones on my RX-3, i bought the 1 1/6 OD (#590935) which is slightly larger than the ones from RE-Speed. It is actually the same brand/make of bearing

Correction.
Re-Speed is Dead as a Vendor and seller on this Club.

Anyone can still buy off them, but they do so at their own risk.
If there is Writing on the wall...I'd read it!
It's always good to research before you buy,That is why the Club created a Feedback section on good guys and Bad guys.

I just don't understand why he would go and buy the name/company and then pull this crap. He could have just been Rice Inc and been doing all his stupid powdercoating and welding. We want the old Re-Speed back dammit.

Re-Speed gone? That sucks. Billy was a great guy and greatly helped me with my steering rack installation. Thankfully I have already purchased their strut tower/firewall brace, FC break adapters, adjustable control arms etc. Sucks to know that I can't replace these parts if they ever fail.
