Lately, i have been hearing alot of horror stories about the battery destroying the dizzy, falling into the fan etc.
My battery is not being held down by anything, it's just sitting there. (I know, stupid idea
)
Anyways, i was wondering if anyone can give me an idea how to re-locate my battery to behind the seats.
(in one of the storage compartments)
Basically, where to run the cables, where should i run the ground, and if i should cover the cables with something (i.e. rubber hose)
Also, is it a good idea to have the battery inside the passenger compartment???? Or should i just try to clamp it down as best i can, under the hood.
thanks,
~Vince~

seems some local parts stores have the Gel Cells now.
If you can find one local, try www.SummitRacing.com

You can get the red top optima battery for like $120 if you shop around or wait for a local auto parts sale. If you're thinking that you need the starting power of an 8.1 liter V8 housed in Alaska, get the deep cell for something like $175, but that's ridiculous overkill.
