rb springs are in... alignment is SCREWED

you guys think that a shop would go to the trouble of turning the top of the spring assemblies to fix my camber?

or would that be extra labor? this pisses me off...

Did you match the arrow at the top? Shop will charge you extra if you want them to adjust the strut top.

Simple to fix on your own.

Remove the four nuts from the struts tops on the drivers side. Use a floor jack under the cross member. jack up until the bolts are clear of the holes and rotate the strut top where you want it. Slowly lower the jack and insert the nuts. Move to the passenger side and repeat.

well, my guess is that your old springs were saggin anyway. sadly, i wasnt alive when my car was made, so i cant speak or how high it is SUPPOSED to be, but i like the way it looks with the RB springs. now if it just didnt pull to the left so hard.

Pulling hard to the left; check the torsion bar bushing ( this will affect your caster setting if there is an issue with the bushings ) tire pressure? how is your tire treads? Sometimes you can get radial pull when the tire treads have uneven wear. You can also swap the front rims around and see if it pulls to the right. Also you may want to get your alignment checked. good luck

Man, there's got to be a picture of those strut tops around here someplace. It's just a little triangle set into the plastic of the strut top. The direction this arrow points when you install the strut on the car determines the caster/camber...

For once and for all ... here's a picture of the arrow on the sturt tower top. You will noticed its not raised much so if you have a buch of dirt in there, you will need to clean it out before finding it.

today i.......... GOT MY KONIG REWINDS!!!!!! and KUMHO AST'S!!!!!!!!

and.... got a new theory on my alignment issue. its fixed btw...

when i replaced my suspension components, my alignment was WAAAAY worse.
go figure.... old suspension on old tires... = bad alignment...

new suspension on old tires... = REEAALLLYY BAD alignment!!!

new tires on new suspenion (at the shop) = .5 degree departure from spec!!! alignment is fixed!!!!!!!

Fwiw, there is a pic of the strut tops and arrow in the FSM, along with a chart showing which position changes what.
