any pump capable of 6psi [holley ,mallorey carter] and a good regulator. the stock pump puts out about 2.5 psi at best and wont keep up with your new carb demands. also make sure your vacume advance is hooked up

get a barry grant adjustable fuel pressure regulator with the guage on it so you can see where you are at. Do not trust the cheapo adjustable in line ones. Sounds like your float levels may be off too. Is it a vac secondary our double pumper carb?

Lastly, I hope you still have the omp hooked up or premixing.

I would check the fuel pressure with a gauge before spending the money. Did you adjust the floats? If it is used, did the previous owner make it a mechanical secondary with a screw in the linkage (bad idea)

Factory fuel pressure will vary and is acceptable for a nikki at 3.7 to 4.7lbs (nikki only needs about 3), so if you're running at the high mark you are close to being okay, lower, not so good at all for the holley. A nikki takes it slow, the holley wants to be pounded like a ***** in comparison.....lol

Great choice! Now you're gonna have to learn how to tune your holley.....a wideband would be a good investment one day...

you will need a presilencer for each of the two pipes! A wideband shows your actual air fuel ratios as you drive and accelerate, it's a great tuning tool.

You need the presilencers or everyone around will roll up their windows and your ears will bleed. As for the wideband, get the autometer kit, its about $300 ish...if it isn't in the budget I can guide you through tuning your holley by feel and the use of a simple vacuum gauge, just pm me.

there's going to be all kinds of opinions of what's loud and what's not, what u should and shouldn't do, and whether a screw in the secondaries to make them mechanical is a good idea or not. i have the screw and no problems. i run the rb streetport exhaust system but with no presilencers. yes it's louder than most prefer but i like it. if i need to find it i have a vid on youtube of how it sounds. best thing to do is to set up ur exhaust like u want and see if it's too loud for u. and no it wont make ur ears bleed, that's alittle bit of an exaggeration. and ppl already have their windows up cause they're running their a/c.
