RB Holley intake clearance?

Can anyone tell me if the RB Holley intake(13 4port N/A) will clear an S4 turbo? I 'm using the 2piece intake now with my weber and I had to use 2 rb flanges to space my turbo out in order for it to clear. The reason I'm asking is I'm thinking of using a Holley style TB for a fuel injection set up.

Thanks, Ed

Rougly 6" so if you want to use the stock turbo manifold, it wont work as it wil be too close to the idler arm. Rene custom made one and it is based on the Holley intake to ensure that can still use it since I like to try out different carbs. As you can see in the pix below, the turbo has to sit in front BUT I had to cut/reweld the water pump inlet tube (re-angled it away from the turbo). (PS: the Jtech is not as bulky as the RB Holley intake)

I still owe you a pix on my bro's RX-2 wherein Rene modded a 75mm tb/custom plenum sitting on a IDA intake manifold.

I know the 13b rb holley intake may be diffrent but after trying several times with my 12a i had to completely move it

stock exhaust manifold with 2 inches of space which only allowed 2 inches of clearance

to produce this style of manifold you simply need a header to cut apart then flip it over use a u bend of two inch tubing
and cut down the collector to use right before the turbo flange and spend a evening with a welder

whakyracer's photo above gives you a better idea but it works fairly well with the holley

the only downside is the clearance between the carb and the turbo and the lower radiator hose aswell

All I can say is WOW! Makes my set up look like a god damn toy, wacky. LOL!
BTW I finaly got a chance to try and mount a stock 4port intake and it doesnt clear my turbo even with the 2in spacer, so the holley intake and tb efi is out of the picture. I guess I would have to go with a sidedraft efi configuration..

Thanks, Ed

If you get a turbo header from Rene or other sources, then you can play with any set-ups.

I just dont want to mess with the turbo and exhaust as its already set. I'm thinking of having 4 injectors welded onto my current set up and having a tps mounted on the carb. This way my set up stay the same.

Thanks, Ed
