Question RB Holley Carb Kit Question?

Is the Holley 465 CFM Carb kit from Racing Beat worth the Money?

I don't relly want to mess with rebuilding a used carberuator, nor do I relly rellish the thought of tuning in from scatch. Also the RB web page said that it has all the accesory vaume sources as well.

I have no intensions of porting this motor

All of the above makes this very appealing, how ever it is exspencive.

Just wondered what you all think

Thanks for the feed back

On a stock port motor, I wouldn't do it. It's a very nice kit, but for the money, you could modify a nikki and get some exhaust work or ignition work done and make more power.

I am going to do the exhaust for sure. I am just saving up the cash right now to purchas it.

It is first on my list, I am just trying to plan my next move.

I also under stand that the feul pump needs to be changed and a pressure reg added as well, if I go with an aftermarket carb.

Thanks

Same applies if you go with a modded Nikki. Youll need more fuel flow than a stock pump can deliver. BTW, a modded Nikki would be cheaper than a holley too.

I would save for a port job, a street ported engine with a stock carb will be more powerfull than a stock port with a Holley!
