RB 2nd gen muffler on a FB?

Has anyone tried running the RB 2nd gen muffler on a 1st gen? Is the sound comparable to the 1st gen powerpulse muffler? I really need to replace my ebay fart can. Its completely burnt out and even with the magnapack in place after my header collector it emits this annoying sound. I can get a set of old RB mufflers for a 2nd gen fairly cheap and was wondering if this will work.

I thought the RB mufflers were an upgrade on the 2nd gen so shoudnt it be for our cars as well? I'll take a little loss if I have too. I'm tired of paying $60 tickets for having an inadequete muffler. Thats what the pigs around here are harassing me for.

Thanks, Ed
