I just zip tied mine back. I figure I will keep it all intact untill I make a new harness. That way if I sell the car I can give them all the emissions crap.

Some people recommend taking the wires back to the harness and just to remove the pin as a whole so it can look clean and be reinstalled.

in the middle of removing my engine (12a) i also removed my rat's nest....i took the entire harness right out (un clipped it at the firewall), but i still don't know for sure.....do i need any of the wires for oil sensors or anything? or is it pretty straight forward....i don't know if the oil sensors and distributor wires and stuff come from the same harness as the rat's nest
