Rats Nest Removal Q
Well I just took out the rats nest and couldn't find a 1/8" plate of aluminum. I can find 1/16" plates, I am wondering, would 2 plates of 1/16" aluminum stacked to equal the 1/8" plate of aluminum work to block the ACV's hole.
Well in theory 2 pieces of 1/16 inch anything will equal a total of 1/8 inch of something. :-)
But a 1/16 inch piece is a little too flimsy to hope that it seals correctly and putting 2 pieces together does not increase the sealing area that goes over the ACV opening. :-)
The plates that cover the ACV that are supplied by Mazdatrix and Racing Beat are actually much thicker than that and made of steel. They are at least 3/16 thick.
