Rats nest removal, purge valve broke

So I'm about done with my rats nest. I've been using the mazspeed write up and all was going great until the vacuum line attached to the bottom of the purge valve decided to take the nipple for the valve with it. The same happened with my AC solenoid but I'm not over worried about that one since I hear I can just use any of the other solenoids off the nest. So I'm kinda at an impass about what to do here. Do I just go flip the bill for a PCV valve or can I do something else since I'm kinda in a rut here now and most of the auto parts stores around are closed. I was thinking of following the write up all the way through and just replace the purge valve with a T fitting that will link up the 3rd and 4th vacuum nipple on the carb to the bowl and filler neck directly, but I dont know if this is a good idea Any other ideas or will mine work?
