hi im new member with a 1985 gs. stock right now. my mom has a 79 with the rats nest out rb header and holley carb and it blows my doors off. i tried to look up what the rats nest removal does but didnt have luck finding anything. what does the removal do for you other than clean out some space. and does anyone have a link to some dirrections how too cuz the mazspeed link my dad sent me is down. and i dont care about the emisions test btw.

 

Removing the rat's nest takes out about 20 lbs. worth of emissions, and also frees up a few hp when you take out the air pump.

If you want HP get a RB exhaust and a Weber.

 

thanks it could use a few hp its pritty slow as of yet. does anyone have a link for how to remove this stuff besides the mazspeed one(this one is down right now). also what common problems do people have after removing this stuff if any.
