Rat Nest Pics

Hey Guys...just removed my rat nest and its lookin clean. I also removed my anti-after burn #2........as you can see in the pic, the AAB#2 was connected with a T-fitting to something (i think it's the throttle opener) and then to the carb. Should I leave it the way it is, or should I connect the "something to the carb.

Also, i am rebuilding the carb and someone told me that not only is it important that every part go back where it was, but that I should also notice how many turns each screw/nut/jet takes to come out. Is this true?

Thanks in advance

ok so after doing a little reading in the FSM, i have found out that the device on the right of the pic if the #2 valve. The pic that i am showing is opposite the fuel inlet lines...does it all look correct? And for the rat nest, i also followed Carl & Pratch's tutorial

ya, i agree that the vrat nest tutorial is great, but it doesnt really mention this. I dont know if the #2 choke diaphram has to be hooked up to something after the nest removal, or just plugged up. Can someone confirm this?

i removed my choke and choke diaphragm, and it starts great all you have to do when is cold is pump the pedal 2 times to prep the carb and then just have it slightly pressed and it starts right up, even on cold days, if it's freezing you will probably have to crank it twice.

by the way, it's good your doing that rebuild it needs it and the needles/jets and all have to be in the exact position, when you removed them blow compressed air through every hole, thats what i did and it came out perfect
