Radio Problems

My 82 Gsl radio doesnt not want to comprehend with me. I kno it did three years ago. Now its just dead the lights go on when the headlights are up. i also changes all the fuses and the fuse 4 the amp that under the driver seat. wirering are fine. Do u kno what the problem. I really think the crap is broken but i dont want to go by a new radio 4 the car n fingd out that it wont work either.

Do you have any big speakers installed in the GSL? And
do you have the original radio in it? If that's the case you might have to change it. I have two 12s in my SE and the original radio is about to die.

Cool this guy has the same last name as i do. but i have have 2 pair of new speakers i dont have my ten inch in yet. So ill take ur advice ill change the radio that peice o stuff. By the way it is a stock radio.
