Oh that would suck! Did it leave a dent in your hood or did the top get slung by the fan? I think its fixable, on the bright side.

damn thats sucks.

kinda reminds me at the time when a guys car overheated at the gas station, it was like an old civic hatch or some thing like it.... the dumb *** pops his hood and is just looking at his motor... then... with pure stupidity at hand he puts his hand on the radiator cap, turns it and bam... HOT Fluid alll over the place.. and him... bah... he screamed like a little girl.

oh, hell yeah it was messy, anti-freeze everywhere, all over the windshield, engine, everything under the hood.
the hood 'skin' didn't dent just the bracing got whacked.
reminds me of ,,when in nascar racing and ' were' in the car, and the engine goes and oil all over the windshield
and you can't see ****. it was just like that.. yeah it sucked. so now time to install a brand new radiator today. and some more water wetter. may as well flush the engine too.

I didn't see an new radiator cap on your list of new things. They are designed to release fluid into the at a certain pressure as your engine heats up. If it didn't release this might be why your radiator poped. Worth the 10$ just to be sure. It would suck to blow another rad, or hose.
