Question Radiator Questions

Alright, First off I seached for radiator problems, installing. and more. Also checked the 1st gen FAQS page no help. So if I missed something let me know but if not then here it goes.
Alright, I just got my 1984 gsl(stock) back together after a year and a half of mechanical hell. At one point I had to take off my radiator to change another enginge component(cant remember now) and the coils were in bad shape. I know I should have replcaed it then but I was low on money and time. I just wanted my baby back. Well I was just wondering if the installing a new raditor was time consuming and/or difficult. Also should I just get a stock radiator or should I buy and high performance(if any). I searched on Racing beat but found no matches. So if anyone could give me some help I would greatly appreciate it. Also if there are high performance radiator where would I find one for the best price. Thanks again everyone.

ur 84 GSL is just like mine, a single row radiator... i got my radiator for it from radiators.com for 122 bux after shipping, and turns out their radiator is OEM fit, but a dual row core, not single, so its an upgrade from what you have now... as for how hard it is, u need to be able to catch about 2 gallons of coolant from both the drain plug on the radiator, and the lower hose from the motor... the radiator takes 4 bolts to get off(well theres 4 holding the shroud on too, and itd probly be best to unbolt the fan and remove it with the shroud, so another 4 bolts). but all in all a radiator is an easy job

oh and the 122 covered 2 day shipping as well(it was only 10 bux shipping, 112 was the base price for the rad)...

Does anyone know where to get an aftermarket 3 row for an 85 GSL? I went to radiators.com and the guy told me that the aftermarket rads are a rare fit and he would have to get another guy to help me... I was disapointed when I saw on the mazdatrix site the sa's only had 3 rows for sale...
