Racingbeat intake install...
I have recently aquired this kit here: http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm
I have a couple of questions, first what do I use for hardware? To hold the carb to the manifold, and to hold the air cleaner onto the manifold? Second, is there a gasket between the carb and manifold? Do you know a parts number? I have already upgraded the fuel pump, no worries there, but do I need a different fuel filter? Any help would be appreciated.

use gaskets, or make your own like I did. That is for the carb to intake. Now, for the manifold to block, you have to get the specific gasket on Racingbeats site, it has to withstand temperatures that the ordinary cork gasket or whatever you use wont be able to handle. As for getting it to stick and stay while you install, try using high temp silicone. That is what worked for me.
EDIT: Any fuel filter will do, I just snagged one from Pep Boys for 3/8ths line (I believe that is the size.)
Do you also have a fuel pressure regulator and gauge? Now would be the time to get them, and also if you like, make your fuel lines a size bigger.

step one... get a regulator and a gauge..but don't trust the gauge, i posted a thread regarding this and my mikuni set-up.
step 2... get the manifold to engine gasket from mazda.. they're usually in stock and the price difference between it and another source is nominal. Trochoid is right about the silicone/rtv... messy and not a good idea... you can place a couple bolts into the manifold and slide the gasket over them and them attach it to the engine.
step 3... pull out one of your stock manifold to engine bolts and take it to your local hardware store....(home depot sucks for automotive bolts) and ask them for a CAP SCREW in the same thread pitch and length as that bolt. A cap screw will have a round head with an allen head. Also get a high grade rating... no need to skimp on crucial fastners... I use grade 8 but grade 5 would be fine.
as for attatching the air cleaner assembly, I'm not sure because i've never run the racing beat Power Pulse filter set-up but I'd assume a threaded rod and a wing nut would suffice.
