ok guys i got the car started. Yes the mazda is back. Another problem one after another hopefully easy fix. The racing beat oil pressure oil temp adapter studs don't fit. They fit the oil pedestal but not the oil filter mount thing, they are too big. Maybe you guys know a secret to mounting these things. I don't know. The guys who put the engine in said it's a JDM 13B 4-port. He didn't tell me what year but I thought only 13B 4-ports came in the 71-79 models ya know. But this doesn't fit. HELP! BTW the stock studs are skinnier. HElp

And my temp gauge doesn't work right now but I'm gonna really look into that.

no 13b 4ports if I'm not mistaken only came in the later model rx-7's specifically the gsl-se's in 85

You are incorrect. The SE had a 6port.

The 4ports were the Repus and Cosmos. And the the Turbo 2 motors were 4 port.


The adapter Block for an early 13B should work. After 79 the Thread changed.
