****, that's a tough break. All of the "thank God you're alive" comments must ring pretty hollow right about now, but rest assured we all mean it. Finding a replacement for Pamela is impossible, but finding another very well-kept SE with records isn't. (although they're hard to come by and will involve searching in places like Vancouver and California).
If at all possible, can you buy the car back from the insurance company? If so, maybe you can use the best useable components on your next SE.
All the best with whatever you're able to come up with.

Brett.

Well, Im not going to claim that knew him, cause I didnt. However when i showed him some pics of my car, and he immediatly tried to sell me a shifter boot, because i havent got one on there. He has always helped me with my questions in the past, no matter how n00b they were. Damn shame about his car tho, best of luck to him.

I am at a loss for words. If my car were totalled, i dont know what i would do, seriously. My car means so much to me, that losing her would be like losing a family member.

Yes, you CAN get a new one, but it isnt the same one. I am glad you are alive, however, I extend my deepest condolences to you coping with the loss of something so precious.

Good luck, Manntis, and I hope we can get through this in a positive way. I know that i would seriously be questioning my faith (not religiously, i'm atheist), and perhaps thingking of a slow *** civic daily driver at this point. Keep your head up, and remember the fun times, and know that you can have more just like them with a new ride.

I'm just rambling,, so pay no attention to what i just said. I'm tired. GOod night.

It is because Manntis loved Pam so much that he is still here. From the sound of he wreck, it seems as though any other car wouldn't of protected him like Pam did. I never knew Manntis, never really talked to him, but I did learn a lot through his posts. I knew he loved his car, and it makes me happy to see that Pam took care of him in her last moments. God's speed Manntis, get back on your feet and try your hardest to find the closet replacement you can. There is no replacement for such a beautiful car as Pam, but try, try to find another car that can make you as happy as Pam did and she will take care of you, just as Pam did. Take care, Manntis.

Oh gods.

I don't think there's much more I can add to all of the others; there's many people who've known your better and longer. But I just want to add my condolences...

Manntis, sorry I havent responded yet, my interent has been down for a while (still is, Im using a friends computer).

As with most, I cant possibly word the sympathies I have for you. I can only imagine loosing my car, let alone such a perfect car. Im so sorry it had to end like this, but she died saving your life, she loved you . So, good luck in the future with whatever projects you get into, and whatever direction life takes you .

Your friend,
~T.J.

PS - Buckle up . I just had to say it .
