alright you electrical gurus out there whats an oscillator? u can see the electrical diagram for it at http://www.wankel.net/~krwright/cars/rx7/85_manual.html under wiring diagrams on page 18 it has a yellow with red stripe wire and a blue wire? im not really sure what this cluster is for?

It picks up the signal that sets off the warning buzzer for low oil and coolant. Also illuminates the appropriate warning lights.
