Question quick question, related to e-fan

i was putting my electric fan in the car, just to see how it fit, and i ran into a small problem. i pulled the clutch fan and shroud out, and tried to put the efan in, and noticed that i had to take the aluminum block off that bolts up to the manual fan... ok, easy enough, remove the long bolts, and presto! more room! well, the small problem is that now the pulley isn't bolted down right... it has slack.
So, i found a few small bolts, and tried them out... the problem now is that the pulley won't turn. like it is too tight now. are there any special size bolts that i have to use for this? anyone have any suggestions?

Metallic_rock... how did you do it? i have the same exact efan as you... going into my 85gsl.

any info would be appreciated.
thanks, jeff

I assume you have a S3 car since you referred to the fan mount as a block, the earlier cars like my 83 only had a small plate the clutch fan mounted to, so I just ground a few threads off the already short bolts to hold my pully on. Since you already have shorter bolts you could just do the same.
