So i have been reading the forums like its my full time job lately.

I called up radiators.com and was about to place an order for a 3 row short radiator for my 84 GSL 12A.

They say they dont have any 3 row radiators for my car.

I told them to look at a 82 model, he says yes they have three row radiators for the 82, but they insisted it wouldnt fit.

So, correct me if i am wrong, but wont a 82 3 row radiator bolt up in the same location as the stock 84 GSL radiator?

On a side note, i plan to upgrade to a FMOC from an SA.

The pre-83 short radiator will mount on the same location. typically, here in LA, I just bring them an old radiator and they will replace the core only for a 3-row. Other than that, I have used an older Ford Mustang 4-row radiator with pre-83 RX-7 side mounts.

 

Okay, so i call em back up and ask for the price on a 1982 rx-7 short 3 row radiator and they told me $260.00!!!! WTF? How was everyone getting these for like $120-140?

 

a Couple of those guys over at radiators.com were JERKS! But i got em down to $165.00 shipped, for the three row, not $120.00, but oh well, still a good deal.
