quick 85 gsl-se question

I'm thinking of getting this.
http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/110267850.html

85 rx7 GSL-SE with a 13b carb. street ported motor with racing beat full exhaust system, holly carburator down draft, drive line balance @ 11000rpm ...dual fuel pumps...braided line.

-Very fun to drive..current reg. as non-op
-lots of power, fast, can be use for drift.
-AS IS sell..no express or imply warranty, you take full responsible for the smog.
-Clean title

my question is would sidedrafts be better. I heard that in the holley it gets fuel starved on hard turns. Also could I get it to smog by just putting on the stock exhaust parts. or would I have to also put the stock intake parts on too.

thanks
and much obliged

Yes, the holley will suck in the turns.. But is easier to drive.. With sidedrafts you have to have better control of your right foot..

That car will never pass smog in CA.. So have that figured out 1st. and if you ever get pulled over expect a very large fine.

Was looking at it myself.. I miss my old 1st gens...

did you seen the car?
the same car was for sell over 2 years on cragislist
i check the car out 2 years ago when i was looking for my last gsl-se
the car is so loud that you will never be ablr to drive on the street
and it took him like an hour to get the car start just to show me the car will start
and since the car is streetported it will almost impossible to get the car pass smog
