Question on Front Turn Signals (European)

I have a pair of Euro turn signals. Don't know what year they're from but my take on it is they should fit the range, 80-85?
Anyway, my question is, the rear housings on both say "R" which I'm guessing is for the right side. Can one of them be flipped around and fit in the left side? The main bulb is angled so if flipped, the angle would be different, pointing out i think. Are the two sides interchangeable is the best way to pose the question I guess.
The difference in the European lamps is that they incorporate two bulbs in each lamp. The lens is clear on one side and amber for the larger rest. The small clear bulb is the running light and the amber light is the turn signal only. At least this is the way the lights work on my FC.

Just use them. You can always use a little silicon to seal if there are leaks. Those things are so hard to come by.

I appreciate the insight. Thank you.

My question was actually more self serving as I want to get them out of my spares box and sell them. I just don't know if the right side can be used on the left. Don't want someone getting something they can't use and i want to be able to answer the question if asked.

Well the reflectors inside can be swapped into a north american set of buckets if someone really needed. The money is in the lens themselves. May I ask what you are looking to get for them? I think there is a waiting list on the forum of people who want them.

The lenses are ok, not great. I think those are interchangeable. I guess the buckets could be changed. The reflectors are all there, but need some clean up. You know how that goes.

Hadn't thought on a price since I didn't want to get in trouble here. I did see some guys try to locate them in the "For Sale" section.

By the way, I went to your website. We have a couple of friends in common, Mike H. (who now owns an RX7 Turbo vert and an RX8 and Ashraf. Great guys. I'm also wondering if you're the same guy i might have talked to a long time ago, but stationed in Korea at the time with a boatload of old RX's somewhere in North America. I had found an RX4 or similar in a yard in CA and we were talking about taking pieces off it. This is a while back though...

They can be flipped over and used as a left or right hand side.

On some of them you have to make a small cut on the lens housing with a box cutter to make sure the lense fits up to the bucket and seals 100%.

But yes, the right hand unit can be used as a left hand unit and visa versa without any problems.
