question about swapping out heater controls

has anyone tried or know how to switch out the 81 heater controls/ radio bezel to the 84-85 version of heater controls and radio bezel?

I believe you would have to swap out the entire dash, I do not know if anyone has done that before.

i belive you do also because of the electronic controlled switches. on the other hand im not to sure, but no, no first hand exp.

I would expect it to be a rather big hassle and definitely not worth it. You're better off selling your car and then trying to find and 84-85 Seven.
