Just wondering about getting a rack and pinion set up for my 85 glse. I know they can be purchased from a company that had a wright up in rx tuner for like $800 but i was working on my uncles pinto dirt track car and noticed that it has rack an pinion in it. so what im thinking is it possible to adapt that system to the rx7?

I realize that i would have to fab my own brackets and mount it up.

 

If you search under "rack pinion" in the 1st gen section you'll find that this has been covered.

 

CP Racing makes the kit, but the universal joint angle is way to sharp. Also if you buy from them, good luck getting your stuff. Search CP Racing, you will see.
