Question about AFR Sensor

Hey guys, just got the Innovate MotorSport LM-1 kit. Now I was wondering when I am not using the LM-1 do I move the sensor from the exhaust and put the Bung plug in replace of it?

I was reading that is said a none powered sensor used on a car that could get damage very quickly. So, dose that mean Un less I warm up the sensor and have the unit plug into the sensor is best to remove the sensor out when not used with the LM-1 meter?

That's what it means. I doesn't hurt to carry a spare, dead O2 sensor with you when you have the plug in. My plug blew out on a road trip a couple of weeks ago. The 3" exhaust is loud enough, with the bung hole open, it's much worse. Oops, did I really say bung hole? lol

lol! Thanks trochoid. The shot I was getting the work done it turn out that the plug for the blung got striped on the way out. So now is just tapped until tomorrow they will have to re-stripe it again so I can put the O2 sensor or use a plug when ever. damn it! I wanted it done today but oh well.

By the way I it done right before the two pre-cats at the collector. Hope that was a good place to have it.
