Question what is cheaper to rebuilt my 12A Engine and Add a turbo or just get a 12AT Engine and drop it to my car?

What makes you think you can't build a pp with less port area/duration that will make less peak hp than a "normal" pp, but at a lower rpm and have a more "streetable" power band? I should also mention that it will have a torque curve superior to that of a side port engine with similar hp.

I think you are the only one who has caught on to what peejay is doing. Everyone thinks PPort and automatically thinks huge ports. I always wondered about making a smaller PPort and minimizing the overlap and see what it's manners would be. Glad to see someone trying it out. Now back to the thread topic of 300hp 12A it can be done with a turbo but will cost you in the 10g's range depending on your mechanical abilities. Like someone else has metioned I would go the route of getting a 13BT motor, more cost efficient, and more reliable. I had a stock TurboII motor in a RX3 and drove it around as a daily driver for almost 4 years until I sold it to a friend who drove it for another 2 years until he blew it but it was his fault that it blew. Totally stock 13BT ran 12.8 in the 1/4 trapping 118mph one fun daily driver. I miss that damn car.
