i was fixing paposwing14 rx7 today and when we test drove it it was running way better than before but the secondary want opening and when they open the get stuck and rev the engine like im still in the gas. i have to shut the car twice because of that. does anyone know how to fix it? thanks the car is a 85 gsl

 

Sounds like the linkage needs to be lubed.

 

Carb cleaner is a good start.

 

but i clean the carb a month ago. it wasnt doing that until i fix the power problem. but i didnt tuch the carb for nothing because the problem was in the ignition.
