Bridge, J-Bridge, or PP. Start with bridge, the J-bridge then PP. That way you'll "grow into it". If you go PP first time, you won't have anything to look forward too anymore

Your right saying that.I have limited funds to apply to whichever engine i choose, but i do have the best engine builder in SA as a personal friend!

I did now... I must say the bridge or J-bridge seems best to me, as it can be done on limited funds. Wether you cut a street port or a bridge port into the side housings hardly makes difference in prize (at least if you perform the action yourself of course), just a bit more time. While a PP of course needs more work (port pluggin...) and expensive rotorhousings...
I'm seriously considering bridgeport myself, but I must first do some research, as the car needs to stay roadlegal. I would therefor not go J-bridge or things like that, only a "small" bridge, so I do not have to cut waterseals.

If you really want to go fast a properly built 13b PP rx2 can hit 11's at the track, all motor.

But if you say you want to built a motor on a budget, even bridgeport should be out of question. That's what i did and now it's losing compression.

I'm not sure if I can follow. Why would a bridgeport (not J-Bridge) have to be more expensive then a stock port? That's of course without the carb etc, I mean just the block? Wouldn't your engine have been loosing compression with stock ports aswell?

Rotary Emotions :The costs invloved to get a bridge port to last are more than with a streetport (the smart way to do it)

It is preferred that the oil pressure be upped, and clearancing and so on.This will help the engine to last, seeing that the engine rev range is increased, and also the stress on the components.

12A Brideport : All the needed items for the Bridge port has been done allready. You will see in my Avatar that i left no stone unturned with the current setup that i have. All the things required for a j-bridge are there allready.

The question still stands...go all the way j-Bridge or keep my current Cheesport setup.

Jbridge should be a lot more streetable, cheaper, and easier to do in your case.

Even though i did vote PP for the ultimate setup, i think your best choice is the JB. Especially if it's also going in the rx2, it should be quick enough with an 1800lbs car.

Rx2 engine Spares are freely available in SA, the peripheral ports are most Rx2 or 13B
