Putting RB springs/GR-2 shocks in my SA

I'm in need of some quick help. Couldn't find any good tips searching. I swapped in some later model ('83) struts in my SA and had to use the alignment blocks from the '83, and i was wondering if anyone had any good tips as to how to stop the shaft from turning when i'm putting on the top nut over the alignment block?
